As Ady says classic early symptom of an alternator on its way out. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

The light didnt always come on...i suppose the conditions have to be right for the light to come on on any car, a minor fault wouldnt show up Mike 2014 Facelift Discovery |

I've had a u/s alternator with no alternator light, radio low power mode on mine as well. Initially AA tested alternator and said it was ok, so I replaced the battery. A few days later same fault, replaced the alternator and no more problems. If the fault is intermittent it may not show up when tested, as was thecase with mine |
