Reversing camera wrong way round

Never looked at the nav screen at the picture from the reverse camera before until this lunch time when i went out. Bloody hell had to brake really quickly because thought I was about to hit something. Everything appears on the screen on the opposite side, if I am reversing into a space so the passenger door is at the kerb, the pavement appears on the right side of the screen.
Is it really supposed to be like that because if it is that's just mad lol.
Or is there a setting where I can flip it back.
Or is there something wrong with my camera Shocked 2010 Alaska white 3.6TDi v8, heated steering wheel, Ipod connection, Aribica extended leather, Digital TV, voice activation, privacy glass, Dynamic pack

Just had the same happen to me in my '10 5.0. It was the result of a software update to fix bugs in the maps and satnav. Took back to the dealer and they "refreshed" it. Not sure if that means a new camera was installed, but seeing no visual cues of the tailgate assembly being taken apart, I'm assuming software was reloaded. Works great again.
