Yours looks different to the HIDS4U GVIF units. Where did you get it from? Is it a general GVIF or specific for the RRS?

I got it from a gvif supplier straight from china. They said its plug and play with the range rover and that i dont even need the interface cable. But the shape on the two cables are a bit diffrent. Do you think I connect the interface cable in the "touch" of the interface. Its a 8 pin connecter in the interface and 8pin in the cable so it should fit? |

they normally only have one connector matching one cable connection to make sure you dont connect the wrong one, so if it fits, then plug it in.... with caution as I dont know that unit specifically. Bodsys Brake Bible

So if i get the land rover connecter cable, One will go into the blue wire i pull out the car unit and one will go straight into the unit. I'll order that now. It sucks that the 2 wires I have prebuilt into my gvif unit for the range rover just dont fit. But i'll give the interface cable a try thanks |

Hi karan538 I have a GVIF from China Witch said for Land Rover And Lexus. And it works . If you move passenger seat as far forewards as possible. Pull Cable out of Blue connection. You will see which cable matches to plug into it. Then plug the other one into where you toohk that one from itisme |

looking at the pictures, do you think my connectors will fit into the range rover. The connectors I have are a bit wider then my car unit. |
