@alymac, it wasn't the Parks demo you were in was it? A friend specced his white one with black overfinch wheels, looks stunning, parks then did their new demo in same spec.
I went looking for a Disco, but funnily I couldn't get in and out as easily as the Sport( a strange shaped 6'2 I think!) for all it's size there seems to be less room front and back in the disco.
The clincher was that the wife commented that we could take her parents out on daytrips in the disco........so that's why I bought the Sport! Laughing

To be honest though most D4s now are quite bling, and the interior is quite nice, the choice is yours!

Cheers

Hi Dave, I have seen parks demo , it is quite bling ! However it wasn't the one we looked at, we looked at one the very same bar the wheels and side steps up at taggarts , it only had 4k miles as opposed to parks with 7k and it was a little cheaper, although I would hope that Ian would try his hardest to do us a good deal if we decided to go down this route. I'm thinking the sport is the first choice currently , better the devil you know etc Mr. Green but hopefully I will get the chance to drive both for a decent amount of time to decide.

Btw does your pals D4 have an Ayr plate on it , if so he passed me te other day, lovely car Thumbs Up

Yes, that would be him! It looks the danglys despite everyone asking him if he now drives for the UN! Those wheels ate about a £3k option! Nice, but a bit on the dear side. I'm sure Ian will sort some figures out esp if he knows he is up against taggarts!
Cheers

I moved from a D3 to the RRS and although I love the RRS I do miss the D3. The D3 was a lot easier to get the seats down quickly and I could get far more in it. The extra seats were handy as well.

I also found the drive was as good as the RRS, in fact the RRS seems a lot harder on the suspension. When the time comes to change I may well consider a D4 HSE spec. 2017 Range Rover Sport Autobiography

I wanted the D4 but swmbo wanted the RRS because it "looks nicer" Rolling Eyes

We also dont need 7 seats anymore so I lost Crying or Very sad

Having had disco 2's before and freelander 1 & 2's I am still not convinced by the RRS particularly having to swap tyres in winter due to it not having m+s tyres Evil or Very Mad

I prefer a real land rover but like some comfort - I think the D4 gives that - but I think the RRS is a pretender - like the evoque Embarassed Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW
