aren't the D's and the RRS exactly the same chassis/wheel-base/off-road electronics???

Yep, RRS is a D3 in a little black (or any other colour) dress. Made on the same line at the same time. |

Nope, wheelbase of RRS is 140mm shorter.

I've owned a D3 and own an 09 RRS and driven them both off road daily.
