my three years old has no idea a manual exists, let alone the button, but he loves being able to climb in using the steps...... and they are really usefull for the polish car wash near me otherwise they stand on the wheels.... |

Decat??? What does tho involve and what difference does it make. Have done this on my motorbike but didn't think it would help a diesel. |

I'm not sure a decat is worth it on a diesel, but a remap definitely is |

Decat is easy, at least on our '07 there are no sensors to bother with. Just remove the cats (there are 2) and replace with a free-flow silencer, or if you want a bit more noise, just replace with standard size pipe.

De-catting made a reasonable difference to my old 300 Tdi Disco, so I'm imagining it would for a RRS as well. However, I'd now be more concerned above passing the more stringent emissions tests at MOT time. Plus I believe that under the 2012 new regs it's an auto fail if there is not a cat fitted when the standard spec says their should be one. |
