Hi Guys and Girls,

As it says on the packet my front tyres are rubbing on the upper suspension arms....

Now I've been running these tyres (GY Eagle GT 2; 285/50R20s) for 15-18 months no problem. Recently I got some vibration through the steering wheel and thought either a weight has come off or something is worn...

Long story short, went to a tyre shop they removed the wheel and thedamage was plain too see: Shiny wormn patch of steel on the suspension arm and a nice fresh 'groove' in the sidewall of the tyre Not good...

So off to the Dealer and he has checked everything again and confirmed:
a) The wheel bearings are ok
b) The alignment was spot (it's being redone with the new lower suspension bushes installed)
c) The lower suspension bushes were worn and as such replaced, but, according to the dealer they have no effect on the tyres rubbing at the top....

The question is, I have run these tyres for 18 months no problems and now they rub, for, what would seem no reason....

Can anybody through up some possible reason for the rubbing that I/ the garage haven''t thought of??? Would be gratefully appreciated.

Btw it's a 2006 SC.
