Leave it in drive......in fact whatever makes you happy...either works fine |

I either put it in P or put it in N and apply the handbrake, don't put it in N then leave your foot on the brake, it will eventually burn out the solenoid that recognizes you have put it in N |

By doing that andy i feel that one is working against the other, and over a period of time that can't be good. |

For short stop starts I just apply the hand brake, but longer stopping I put it in neutral then handbrake |

Don't think i have used the handbrake on mine since the day i got it. If sitting in traffic i will knock it into N |

Gearbox oil temperature will rise if its in-gear and stationary for more than 10 minutes. Stick it in neutral, put hand brake on if its going to be a few minutes. |

You're in a Range Rover for God's sake, push the other traffic out of the way and never stop at traffic lights! That will keep the oil cooler. TDV6 HSE, Java Black, Black Premium Leather, Privacy, LR Side Steps, Smoked Side Repeaters, SC Vents and lots of toys! |
