Hi, this may have been asked before but as I have not had a RRS before I am not sure if the compressor should be constantly running.
When I start the engine there is a loud hummimng noise coming from underneath which sounds like a compressor for the air tanks. If I alter the suspennsion height then the noise stops for a short time but will start back up agian. Is this normal for a RRS or do I have a problem.

Also just had it up on a four poster ramp and noticed two weights underneath at the rear next to the tail pipes, any body know what tese are for.

they do go on and off to keep the air preasure up, although should not run near constant, you could have a leak somewhere perhaps.

As for the noise, I dont hear mine although I did hear the one on my old D3, sometimes the cowling that covers them over can become full of mud esecially if you use it off road, they get noisy when full of mud and a good clean out of the cowling should make it quieter. 2017 Range Rover Sport Autobiography

Weights are for damping, quite normal. Do not remove them.

Compressor running all the time means a leak in the suspension somewhere. If the pump is constantly on then it will be subject to premature failure. You need to get the system looked at.

Or possibly a stuck compressor relay. Either way, fix it or risk a bill for a new compressor.
