Facelift

Just got myself a RRS TdV8 with Overfinch interior. Two colour leather with carbon-fibre cover bits.
First time RRS driver. Really loving it. Shocked 20 mpg!!
Two separate Dvd at the back to keep kids happy.

Not allow to buy the 2010 model because moaning wife said need to save money for school fees.
Like the new 2010 exterior very much (not the interior update, look a bit like Japanese cheep design).
Want to give her a bit of facelift (the RRS not the wife) and find he website.
http://www.pimpmyrange.co.uk/products/rang...p-780.html

Can any of expert give some advise regaRding this conversion.
Will it affect the LR guarantee?

Also LR offer me to pay £880 to buy 12 months guarantee. Do you think is good idea?
Just noticed the nearside back wheel making grinding sound during slow speed and also
2.1cm lower then other wheel arch to ground measurement.

kam100 (a site sponsor) offers warranties that undercut LR. See WWW.WARRANTYUK.CO.UK
I don't think there is any material difference in the quality if cover. Check it out. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso

you are the first one here who loves the new exterior and doesn't like the interior.

The rest here likes it the other way around. Rolling Eyes SW

Agree with ilard - quality cars (like women) dont need facelifts...once you start, where do you stop...the wheels will need doing too so you will be in to thick edge of £5k...and what have you gained? Let the youngsters play in their own yard and just enjoy mellowing with age... Wink

Viper: So you like the analogue clock? Next edition may be should put in my grandfather pendulum clock.
Exterior improvement is the way to impress just like your profile picture.

Timf and Ilard: I thought sometime good quality old girl still need a bit of facelift so that I can take her to party to impress people.

Luke Skywalker: the new interior is not like your star war spacecraft, it a bit like Apollo 13 interior.

So no one agree with me that facelift is a good idea. Sad
