Will 19" FFRR wheels fit RRS

I have been offered a new set of GY MTR's mounted on this style of FFRR 19" wheels

The present owner has had them fitted to a Disco3 but had to fit spacers. Does anybody know if they will fit RRS TDV8 without spacers? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Disco 3 and RRS both have same set wheels so spacers would be required.

Think from memory their is a cut off point in wheels that fit RRS from FRR dependant on year of manufacture. Pretty certain pre 2006 FRR do not fit and 2006 onwards do without spacers

These do not fit a D3 without spacers and I'm not aware that D3's have brembos fitted Al different size although I guess the fittings are the same

Yes I know we tried after another forum member tried them on and reported an issue

The seller has a set of D3 HSE wheels that he is going to fit them to before sale and they will fit 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Thanks for the confirmation Coko, will take them on the D3 wheels and then might buy myself a set of the 2010MY 19" 20 spokers to put them on rather than use the D3 HSE wheels. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Tim, do you think that the 19" HSE D3 rims will fit your car?

Don't know, will try but I have a set of RRS 19's I can fit them on if necessary, except they are already on the car with the Ice and Snow Pirellis on them! I'm thinking of getting a set of the 2010MY RRS 19" 20 spoke wheels for them anyway as can get a set of cast-off wheels locally quite cheaply 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Nothing, but the spares fitted to RRS have warning sticker fitted to them do not exceed 50mph which is probably due to it being a different width to the others on the car, but you are hardly likley to have a set up with odd wheels on anyway.

Many disco 3's have fitted RRS wheels up to 20 inch no problems at all, just the same rule don;t mix and match odd wheels on same vehicle, but they have to be more careful with the tyres fitted as they need a heavier load rating than standard fit on RRS, but All terrain and mud tyres have the higher rating anyway thaT WILL FIT BOTH NO PROBLEMS

Lespes all space savers have a speed limit of 50mph and supposedly 100miles use, but I have a neighbour who appeared to run her Volvo for about 2 months on one before the local Plod stopped her...........

Regarding the D3 HSE alloys, I will doubtless find a home for them over on the D3 forums, I have a set of 2010MY multispoke 19's on the way

This is the style I am being supplied with, sorry about the smal pic

In this pic they were fitted to a P38A FFRR 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

it is the same diameter but a diffrent width and aspect ratio so won't give the same grip or handling therefore the 80km/h rating. Local friend here has a disco3 with black wheels identical to the spare on the sport just they dont have the 50mph/80km h yellow stickers.
The GY MT/R 19" is slightly larger in diameter so watch your speedo Tim it will read low. Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh
