REAR DVDs

Hello Gents , i have an 08 TDV8 , all is well , i am based in Kent , and am thinking about having READ DVDs fitted in the headrests.

Can anyone recommend a good company that can do this for me , and know how to do it ?

If they can do it at my home too ?

Any advice would be good.

Thanks and take care

I would not get the rear dvd again - costs too much compared to what else is now available. My preferred solution is to buy 2 ipod touches, portable and a hell of a lot cheaper plus kids can watch different things, a major plus when you have kids who don't agree with each other. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Switzerland 2009 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

I bought a Phlips portable DVD player (PET1030) which comes with a really smart car headrest mounting kit.

This 10.2" swivel screen model takes DVDs (multi-region), SDHC cards, and has a USB port. It will play DIVX, VCDs, and MPEG4 films.

Finally it is white and comes with a remote and of course a car charger. It is great because we can take it out, and our daughter can continue watching her film. Also it cost USD220 (I bought it when I was in the states).

Awesome purchase. RRS TDV8, black with ivory.

so can we all agree that as long as the RRS does not have tinted windows (to show off) in the back and the owner doesnt have kids then the DVD screen the RSE like i have on mine is pointless!!

was so excited when i ordered them never even turned them on! maybe i should keep my windows open!

Trouble with the iPod approach is that you've got to decide which DVD you want to watch in the car, rip it onto the iPod etc etc. With real DVD players, you can just grab a bunch of DVDs as you're heading out the door and then the kids also get a choice of a few during journey. You can at least then head off the "but I wanted to watch Return of the Jedi, not Empire Strikes Back!" type meltdowns Wink

Try this

fitted to mine no problems.

Kids can watch seperate DVD's at same time or the same film if they ever make a film they both like Laughing

Also has 15 different video games which also keeps them happy

When for the fitted option to reduce the risk of theft and works pretty good, wireless headphones and games consoles and you can play the sound track over the car stereo system as well

How about sticking with the ipod option but just getting some different kids each time you go out ? then you can keep the same film on the ipod indefinately Laughing we like to think laterally up north Thumbs Up 2005 TDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver Ebony Interior Sunroof, RSE, Side Steps
