Spare Wheel Cover

How many peeps have a cover on their spare wheel?

I think they finish the rear end off but i don't see many about! MY10 3.0 TDV6 HSE, Zermatt Silver, 20" Diamond Turned Alloys, Factory Privacy Glass, Premium Leather, Contrast Stiching, Side Steps, Etc

I've just stuck a reflective 'rrsport.co.uk' on mine MY10 3.0 TDV6 HSE, Zermatt Silver, 20" Diamond Turned Alloys, Factory Privacy Glass, Premium Leather, Contrast Stiching, Side Steps, Etc

No but I do have RLD's spare wheel protector. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Same....It made in a way that the cable holding the spare wheel can't be cut and the wheel stolen... Range Rover Vogue â€˜17 TDV6

Is it an official LR Part or something a third party supplier has come up with?

Unfortunately it's not a LR part. I think they were supplied by a company called Aquarius ISTR. When the D3 and RRS were launched some dealer groups fitted them FOC which included having their name on the lip for advertising.

Personally I don't like them too much and have had a couple of people mention that they fill with water (at one end and discolour/rot the rubber), however I guess you could drill some drain holes.

Our forum stickers go at the top of the screen, just under the spoiler.

Ok they are an aftermarket thing that Stratstone had made, they are now available from Craddocks on 01543 460169

As i posted i will send photos soon, they are plastic with a fabric curtain that wraps around the wheel leaving a flat surface for a sticker or dealership label to be added i am putting RRSPORT.CO.UK sticker on mine MY10 3.0 TDV6 HSE, Zermatt Silver, 20" Diamond Turned Alloys, Factory Privacy Glass, Premium Leather, Contrast Stiching, Side Steps, Etc

Removed their advertising and replaced with Forum reflective sticker.

I brought one off ebay for £15 from craddocks i think .It think it looks better than being able to see a ugly spare wheel underneath.

Saw one on a car for the 1st time today - hope there're nothing like the one I had on the rear of my Disco, near impossible to put on and even harder to get off. Just something else to get dirty and rot away.
