3 1/2 years trouble free motoring...

...and I think I may have my first potentially expensive mishap!

The amber suspension warning light has come on with the message 'Normal suspension height only available', or something like that.

Any ideas, I just hope it's not going to be a compressor fault/replacement for the air suspension Shocked Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Could just be a sensor.

Otherwise lose some weight and the car should work perfectly. Wink 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Have you tried switching off and back on again to see if the self diagnostic checks cure the fault?

If that doesn't work it will require a visit to the stealers. Hopefully your motor has logged a spurious fault code that will be easily fixed by the diagnostic man at the dealership.

Let us know how you get on. Thumbs Up Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

You haven't been into a tyre shop lately and had the car jacked up have you ST....................................... if so just hope and pray that they put the jack in the right place and didn't jack the car up with the jack on the suspension compressor. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Thanks guys (Except VA Laughing )

Tim, it came on not long after I put the spare on. Mrs ST was out in the RRS and had a blow out driving down the main road into town.

I know the whole routine for changing the wheel (Where to put the jack, off road height selected etc) so I don't think it will be down to that.

TB, it has been on for about a week now and the soft reset hasn't worked.

It is due into stealer next week so i'll keep you posted

What is your battery history - a few odd faults have been put down to dying battery recently - worth a thought if it is the orig battery?

MAW - still original so could be a possibility

ZILCH - Laughing Laughing Thumbs Up

The thing that concerns me is that our RRS has only done 34k in 3.5yrs so if it is something major I will be a bit peeved.

A sensor or a battery I can accept, but if it is a compressor or something expensive.... Evil or Very Mad Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad
