Kaine, the sound of common sense rings thru mate......I'm just not sure I would still think the same if I was ever the victim of something serious. I would certainly go for a stun device if possible......thinking about it, a gun is a little severe. Makes me think why the US have such a gun centred attitude.....

......which is fine NickM if they had not been outlawed in this country. The UK juditial system is basically flawed and until such time as the wiggy ones change their attitude and STOP penalising the innocent party for protecting their property etc, we all have to rely on ever increasing insurance premiums to deal with this mess.

If it was a clear black and white case, which sometimes it is not admitedly, and someone is caught stealing anything or worse assaulting etc a member of your family etc, we should have the right to beat the living s Censored t out of them or use reasonable force necessary to protect ourselves..........unfortunately this is NOT the case and like most things in this island, we are expected to roll over and just take it with a stiff upper lip.

I'm not saying annialate at every given opportunity, but if needs be, use appropriate action without wondering if during cross examination they uncover your Dad looked at you funny as a child and therefore you have physco tendancies and have been looking for a reason to blow someone from here to Timbaland-too with a 12 bore. 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 Java Black

Where I used to live car thieves looked out for the cool cars and followed them home. They would then break in whilst the owner was asleep, tie them up and torture them to give up their credit cards with pin numbers and would keep the owners tied up whilst checking the pin worked. Then drive away in the car too. Seriously nasty as they'd chop off fingers to get the pin numbers.
The gang were eventually caught and I hope they got what was coming to them

Speaking of stun guns, I agree I would have one, just to keep in the bedside drawer, I would never take it out, Im not sure if i could shoot someone who broke in but I know I could stun them!

I'm going to Thailand soon and was wondering about the legality of posting one back. They are sold all over there, very cheap.

I know its obviously illegal to bring it back on the plane and probably also to post one back but how serious is it?

It would give me piece of mind with 2 nice cars outside.

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

seems like it is becoming more comman ... last november I went to London on the train, got in a taxi at the top of my drive at 9.00am.... by the time the postman came at 9.30 they had forced electric gates, broken electric garage door and forced entry and made of with my FFRR.

House was not broken into and keys were with me in London and other set in the safe at my office.

Scumbags ..... of course spent many months negotiating with insurance company over the value ... but now in a RRS Supercharged.
