Posts: 24350 | Me neither, but then I suppose it's feasible that the service department don't talk to sales and I suppose there won't be that many ISFs in circulation to be turning up at service depts...

Swings and roundabouts, but give me an M3 saloon anyday over the ISF 2009 Outstanding Contribution Award - Joint Runner Up 2009 'Tech-Head Of The Year' Award - Runner Up Like it here? Then Donate to RRSPORT!!

In addition, BMW have been making cars that go round corners properly for years and Lexus don't have that heritage. Not sure I've seen a ISF vs M3 test yet, where the M3 doesn't win it. It remains to be the de facto small sports saloon imho.  | ||

Well in my own track and road test of the M3, RS4 and ISF back to back, the ISF won for me - and that's all I care about RS4 - horrible handling and useless clutch (died after 2 laps) M3 - useless brakes, didn't sound as good as the Lexus and I hate the image that goes with it IS F - sounds glorious, and has all the toys as standard. Handling just great fun - with controlled power slides and generally a great hoot to drive.

Add to that the dealer that did end up doing the service made a bit of a mess of the car (I think it was the seat leather or something got stained).... the guy didn't let on that he was a motoring writer, but complained to the service manager and apparently ended up getting a call later on from the Lexus UK MD to apologise. Goes to show there are two sides to every story.
