Whine Warning in Shandyland

In case you have not seen this (I have blanked out our office address):

G20 Demonstrations

We understand that demonstrations are likely to take place between 28 March 2009 and 2 April 2009 in various locations across London. The demonstrations which may affect XXX are those which are planned for 1 and 2 April 2009, these are been promoted as the ‘G20 meltdown’. Police intelligence suggests the following events are being planned:

Wednesday 1 April
8.00am - groups are to start to gather at various locations, that keep changing
11.00am - groups aligned to the 4 riders of the apocalypse will be gathering at the following railway stations Liverpool St, Moorgate, London Bridge and Cannon St. They will then march to the Bank of England for a street party due to start at 12pm. A group will also be gathering outside RBS in Bishopsgate
12.30pm - groups will gather outside the European Climate Exchange building, Blackfriars, where they will attempt to camp overnight

In the evening BP are holding their Centenary Celebration in the British Museum, which is also a target.

Thursday 2 April
7.00am - groups gather outside the London Stock Exchange with a view to shutting it down
9.00am – groups will march from the city to Excel All day the G20 Summit at Excel

It is believed that the majority of the protestors intend to conduct peaceful a demonstration. We should all however, remain vigilant at all times and ensure that buildings are secure. Banks and financial premises are thought to be the targets of the protest although this could extend to all premises in the city. Please be aware that several financial businesses operate from XXX and hence the building could be targeted. WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award

When the G8 was held at Gleneagles (45 minutes drive from my house) three years ago Central and Highland Police Forces road-blocked the motorways at Stirling and the roads within 25 miles of the hotel were closed/ road-blocked - anybody suspected of being an anti-globalist was "diverted" from the roadblock into the City of Stirling and given camping permits for free - what the protestersdidn't realsie was that it was a brandnew all seated stadium with few access points. Plod herded them in for the night and then locked the doors............................. until the G8 was over. A few got away or arrived too late and smashed up a Burger King on the nearby industrial estate/ retail park but that was about all the damage they managed to do.
My house was right under the flight path of the presidential helicopter from the where Pres. Bush was staying to Gleaneagles - after 3 days of the flight going right over my house at about 100ft I called the police and suggested they change the flight plan as anybody could launch a missile from the local roads at the flight that passed over twice a day at the same time each day.................................. on the last day the flight didn't pass over my house they flew over my parents house about 0.5km away instead! God you can hear those Chinooks from miles away, not much stealth with them! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Pretty poor security really as if a muslim had rung up and said the very same thing you can guarantee they would have been 'Spoken to'.
