Hi everyone

I have finally joined the happy band and bought a 07 TDV8. At the advanced age of 60 I gather I am one of a select few here.

I recognise one name from the past - Hi Tim in Scotland - from the days of the now defunct US freelanderowners.com site when you had a TD4 if I remember correctly.

Hope to see some of you at Gaydon, I think I have signed up in the right place but as I will be travelling independantly do I need to confirm via the convoy thread to get a link for the pass?

PS Do I hold the record for the shortest distance to have travelled from the dealer when collecting my car before breaking down - 6miles?

Hello M8, nice idea this site. Just bought her indoors a Black HSE RRS. Got it for her to pull a horse trailer which I have also just bought her. The only thing that worries me is her hooking up the trailer. I am looking for a mirror which looks down at the tow bar, so she don't put the trailer hook into the bumper Steve John Taylor

Hello Everybody

Just joined in as a member, but has followed closely the activities of the forum Smile .

I'm from Portugal and currently own a RRS 2006 Java Black (TDV6) with:
Dynamic Response, Brembo, 20'' Stormers, Winter Pack, black interior, refrigerate central console, Premium HK, Rear 9.5'' DVD pack, AFS headlights, Smoked (20%) rear windows....

I am an unconditional fan of LR, the RRS is my new project, i will need your help to get more information and make my "Autobiography" RRS.

First upgrades coming next week from UK:

- Black and Silver front grille and side vents
- Black logos (interior and exterior)
- MY2009 rear lights
- Color coded door handles
- Color coded rear tail trim
- Clear side repeaters


- Next...color coded headlights and replace the orange reflector... Smile
