ask him to specify exactly what make/model etc you'll be getting for £1000... price it up yourself va the internet, then you should see whether the 1000 is justified for the equipment. re: 500 a day , this is why i installed it myself...

Is this a main dealer Nick? £500 a day for the labour isn't all bad then.... it's around £120/hr in servicing, so a day should come in at way over £500

ummmm... may have spoken too soon. On a few occasions, i don't get the AGREE button on my NAV screen... just a picture of LR's Logo. Also, no sound from the stereo...

How did it go with the install? would be interested in doing something similar myself.. Have just bought a TDV8 but no TV option, would love to get one installed. also have an iPhone that would be great to connect.
