Hi Guys,

I have the Logic 7 system in my RRS.

With the subwoofer control set to just over half (can't have it higher) and bass at 3/4 I get a rattle from the damn thing on all music with a heavy baseline.

Is there any fix for this simple or complex? (Apart from turning down the volume and deselecting bass/Subwoofer) Chawton White TDV6 HSE with Alpaca and Rodium, Automatic Climate Control,

might be the low bass note rattling something like a loose jack or a panel

There is a CD that you can buy, which plays different sounds and different bass levels and its designed to find those annoying rattles, I think one of the lads of Freel2.com bought one and they cost about £10

I had this with my Logic 7, turned out to be a faulty sub. Get the dealer to check it out, mine was replaced under warranty and its much better now.

I get the same problem when playing Dr DRE or 50 Cent!!! its even worse outside the car, the tailgate rattles  RANGE ROVER SPORT 2008

Resurrecting an old thread I know.. did anyone cure this fully?
Mine's terrible. It's not under LR warranty any more but I'm not shy so I don't have a problem stripping the tailgate which is my next job if you guys can't give me an easy answer...
The tailgate rattles itself to death with the sub on anything above half, and you can hear it with the tailgate open too - so it's nothing in the boot. It comes from the section where the sub is mounted - and it's not the number plate on the outside either.
I was going to strip it and tighten everything and dynamat some of it but I don't want to soundproof the bass into the tailgate!

I've had mine done twice. They trashed the trim and had to replace it both times but it still rattles above half so I've given up

Thanks for the reply. You've put me off stripping mine down now lol.
I might see what leeds car audio say about it. Make it someone elses problem then if they trash the trim it's their thing to fix rather than mine.

I had the same issue of vibration and rattle but both are relatively easy to fix and I have put a post in tips and tricks to explain.
