QUICK POLL: "MY NEXT MOVE"!!…

As im an indecisive Censored , thought Id ask my mates on here! Im playing with a few scenarios in my head.... and now ive got a couple of offers on my RRS I'm facing a dillema!: Do I:

A. Sell RRS HSE 06 black alpaca 28k for £35,000 (ie whats on table), then:

B. Put a couple grand to and buy an RS4

C. Get a 530d

D. Get an MCoupe, and a run about to accomodate my twin boys (have at weekends)

E. Stetch to an M5, then mope about all the time worrying about the potential running costs.

OR F. Address the things that bugg me about my RRS and keep it!: Being:
i) New stormers
ii) Chip (turbo lag and lack of poke annoy hell out of me)
iii) Get some exhaust tips off ebay.

Well?

Z4. I had the Z3 Mroadster a few yrrs ago and LOVED it! Crap round bends and stuff but it was like a little hotrod! Used to keep with my mates 911 everywhere!

Its not a bad position to be in mate so I dont think you should be losing sleep over it, speeds obviously an issue for you so RS4 (avant?) or something you didnt suggest is add a bit more and go for TDV8?

Wouldnt spec up your current HSE its still going to worth around 35K with re-map, stormers and tips but would cost you 2K and you still might not be happy.

Running 2 cars is a bit unecessary when the RS4 is as quick as the Mcoupe with space for everyone and the step up into a TDV8 would I think satisfy your need for speed!

Good luck with it though Thumbs Up

Thumbs Up

Have you seen Imola Red it's one of the best red's like blood red

You can't get Estoril Blue any more i don't think unless you pay the £1000 for it like i had to to get Imola red on my old 320D witch my Sister has now

This is nice as well nice colour but cost more more miles not as good kit but a year newer

I like M5's but don't think I could live with the crap gearbox.

Not a fan of Z4's TBH.

530d - nice, but a little bit staid?

RS4 - stunningly capable car and sounds great but old model now and will cost you a mint in fuel.

I'd stick with what you have but add some 'finishing touches' to it as you say in your post Thumbs Up Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

No Jay, I haven't but every review i've ever read says that when you are driving in full attack mode it's ok.

The Auto function is apparantly clunky, noisy and too sharp shifting.

Personally, I would only use the paddles occasionally and the auto function the rest of the time.

Therefore, for me a full auto with paddleshift facility would be better.

Apparantly, the new MCT Speedshift box on the new SL63AMG sounds like the perfect compromise (For me....) Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

yeah I mite stick then....

I tell you what though, that new S5 looks cool. Heard on here that theres a few folk put 500 down on the RS5? Tempting! And i'll tell you something else thats tempting - C class AMG; god I love that car....

OR I mite listen to my accountant and sell the lot and buy a big pension......

I'm ex RS4.......

It is a great car. No, it's better than that. And I had the 2.7 not the V8!

I changed because I need a change. If you want some fun go for the 4. Don't whatever you do go for the S5. I had one on loan for a while...... yuk.

The RS5 would be interesting but they only produce one RS at a time and for the next couple of years that is supposed to be the 6. And I have my eye on one of them. Smile

Wait for the 6 is all I can advise! TDV8 with optional dog.
