Some pillock keyed my car today on the front wing and passenger door

Bit too deep for just a polish out i think

So want to send it to a descent bodyshop for it sorting

Anybody recommend somebody

Won't use chips away, last time we used them the job was terrible

Depends what you want mate but I have used tech smart on a couple of company cars and there work has been faultless and very reasonable. They are oncross green industrial estate.

how was there paint matching, I want it invisible if its at all possible and would prefer just to have the scratch sorted not the whole panels

just a bit worried as chipsaway was very bad at touch up and matching paint ( i know i shouldn't judge everybody the same)

Looked at there website, so i will give them a call in the morning anyway

Have you heard of Minster Coachworks in York, apparently they are my dealers Bodyshop

genuinely could not see any difference. It's not the fanciest of places but they were recommended to me.

Popping some up there now,

Its only a Stornoway Grey Freelander 2 with scratches , Nothing as grand as the RRS

The trouble with Chipsaway is that they're all franchised operations... your local franchise might be rubbish, but an adjoining one might be much better. I had Chipsaway deal with my RRS before it went, which had scratches all over it and they did a great job. The Chipsaway HQ are interested to hear of franchisees who aren't keeping up their end of the bargain.
