Low Battery

Anyone had a low battery warning appear on the radio screen. It happened yesterday and this morning. I think its because I had the heated seats and windscreen etc all on at the same time but would expect it to cope with this. It ends up turning down the volume on the radio until it clears. 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8, Stornoway Grey

i had the same message when i started my car the first time in a week.
the music was playing but when i turned the volume up, the message showed with no change in volume.
i think it was a low battery level.
try driving for a while for the alternator to charge the battery. worked in my case.

I've gotten this a couple times too, seems to only happen when I try to turn up the volume while on a call right after I get in. Or at least that's when I've noticed it. But it also seems to go away pretty quickly, so as cyberjes suggested, maybe the battery just needs to charge a little.

If the engine is not yet running, that's normal. Max volume is limited to preserve juice in the battery, so if you try turning the volume up beyond 20 (with the engine running you can go all the way to 35), a battery icon and "Low Power Mode" message will briefly appear on the radio LCD.

Thanks guys - as long as it not just me I feel better. Had the message again this morning when I put on the front and rear de-icer with high volume. I just need to learn to keep the volume down for that first minute. I need something to wake me up in the morning on the dreaded commute to work.
