Before anyone starts, my businesses were consistently ranked amongst the industry best with regard to employee recruitment, training and retention. We rigorously adopted best practice employment policies.
Not withstanding all that, I only had a 50% core of worthwhile employees.
Now days it is just me, my accountant and sub-contractors. The ultimate sanity fix !
