Sorry to hear about your grief with the new car
I fell for the same buy British consience thing. After 20 years of several LR's 4 Disco's and 9 RR's and loads of disasters- I tried again but to no avail.
Mine goes back again for the 7th time next week. It is becoming a way of life in our house. But then mine is 16 weeks old and it has done 2K so its a better example.
When situations like yours happen there should be a system to supply you a new car next day or even week.

Well thats another story. They gave me a disco 3 the same day mine broke down, nothing wrong with that you may think. Except the fact it was like a shed on wheels. Then i got another shed from Enterprise via Land Rover Assist, and finally got a 3 rd car yesterday which is fine.

They are hoping to give me my old car back with the new engine in it untill my replacement one arrives. The dealership is speaking to the factory to see if they can bring the build date forward.
