Scotland 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Nearly two months in & 1000 miles on the clock. Things have not improved in the slightest. So far the list of problems stands at (1) programs malfunction (2) new bushes (3) dynamic response ceases to function (4) The seat lumber support doesn't function properly on the drivers side (5) The airbag thinks its deployed (6) The boot lock jammed shut (7) The flap to reach the fuel cap jammed locked (Cool The front number plate fell off (not stolen, fell off on route) (9) The phone kit does not function properly.

Brilliant car to drive, looks great, but like I said before, I cannot understand how a company can produce a medium priced car with so many faults. Looks like LR will be getting the car back for a refund or replacement, as it certainly isn't doing what it said on the tin!!!

Afraid this type of situation is not helped by dealers who once they have your money do not want to know (as shown by trying to charge you to fit your grills when your brand new car is back with them)
I had lots of issues with my first D3, many of them actually caused by the same chain of dealers as yours.
I would go for a replacement as you will never be 100% happy with your existing one, the only thing is you will have to get the dealer principle on your side for this to get anywhere.
Have you got everything noted at Landrover customer services? if not get this done ASAP with a case number, and set up a meeting with the DP.

Good luck, and say sorry again to TB, he is a top guy who has helped many owners with good info Wink

Feel for you Brave but your not alone. My knock on front suspension has been looked at twice so I asked could I diagnose it myself and have the parts as the dealer trips and loan cars were becoming time consuming. they said no take it to yr local dealer so I did-the third one to try and fix it. They had it all last week and at 5pm Friday gave up- New complete anti-roll bar, bushes brackets you name it they tried their hardest but to no avail.
The other problems you have I had 4 of them within 95 miles on clock.
A good friend of mine got his new TDV8 sport last week, drove it from the dealers 38 miles on clock almost home and on came thr warning lights no power engine fault. LR assist came but could not fix it so back to the dealer on a trailer for 4 days.

Business as usual at LR You don't stop playing because you get old, You get old because you stop playing.

CJ - don't worry. We have had 2 RRS and 2 D3's now. Couple of minor niggles on the first D3 and first RRS that were quickly sorted. Not a hint of bother with the new D3 and new RRS Razz

Bet if you bought an X5 and it had a problem, your father in law would say "bad luck" but with a Land Rover he will say "I told you so". All new cars can have teething toubles, but when the LR product works well it is majestic. When the X5 or similar work well, they are still relativley boring Thumbs Up

Now where is that anorak with Land Rover written on the back ...... RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini
Disco 4 TDv6 HSE Ipanema
Defender 90, 200tdi CSW
