United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Java Black
TURBOCHIP TDV8 SPORT

Turbochip now have a TDV8 rr sport for test ,development, marketingand promotion
We have already upgraded our car to 322 BHP.
The acceleration from 0 to 60 mph is up from 8.8 seconds to 7.4 and wow does she go.
The fuel figures when sence allows is around 28mpg on a run which is better than standard TDV6
The car has still only done 1800 mile so there is plenty of time for improvement.
Our car is amazing to drive and and very very quick. but credit needs to go to the LR engineers as this a very compitent car before we start.
We have done over 40 cars now and had no reported faults with any car to date.
We are going to organise some test venues if people are interested in the sport TDV8 and you can meet some of our staff and technicians
We will further test and report to the forum in the comming weeks.

Happy RR motoring

Nick

Do you have the torque figure that goes with the 322bhp figure - presumably these figures came from an independent calibrated dyno?

Oh! Put me down for a test drive please. Gone - 2008 TDV8, Stornoway Grey, ebony, zabrano trim, TV, Tasmods, mudflaps.

Ran miy TDV8 on morrisons diesel for 2 tanks, got ave. 20 mpg , (tho I live in leeds so half my miles is city/traffic driving.
Started putting BP Ultimate Diesel in, ok, its 6.9p per litre more at around £1 per litre, but am getting 22mpg, (31mpg on long runs at cruise controlled 70mph - only did it once to find out), and its supposed to be better for the engine, they say run it on the best grade of fuel you can!

Just though id add, at 130 mph, it read 17mpg, Legal disclaimer: "Apparently! some bloke down the pub said so"

Personally, I ignore the fuel computer and simply brim the tank when I fill it up and record/reset the trip mileage. It's the only way to get accurate 'true' fuel figures. "People simply disappeared, always during the night. Your name was removed from the registers, every record of everything you had ever done was wiped out, your one-time existence was denied and then forgotten. You were abolished, annihilated: vaporized was the usual word."

Between 22 and 25mpg will be normal for spirited driving.
