United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey

So it would seem that 28 mpg is achievable - but not at the same time as 0 - 60 in 7.4 seconds.

LRTuning has previously quoted a reduction of 1.5 + seconds off the 8.6 standard 0-60 time, so Nick's 7.4 seconds also appears achievable. Very Happy

I do wish Nick would come back and defend his own corner after posting performance gains for TC products. We haven't heard too much from LRTuning recently either. Sad Gone - 2008 TDV8, Stornoway Grey, ebony, zabrano trim, TV, Tasmods, mudflaps.

MPG is not yet known for any distance. Original figure was 23.4mpg on the meter. I will ask him later what the change in MPG works out to.

Must go do a 0-60 in mine again Crying or Very sad

Never believed 7.5 struggling to believe 7.7 Shocked

Tasmod. Bow down Bow down Bow down

Perfect thanks.

I can't see me holding on to the brakes and winding her up just to get .5 of a sec off 0-60 in the real world Whistle

I know exactly what you mean about the "STUMBLE" I am convinced that is why mine is no quicker off the block from a standard TDV8.

Your test pilot is NEVER going to get 28 mpg over 500 miles Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

So, can someone tell me, for chipping a TDV8 at Turbochip, is this only available as a download or can you have a "plug in box" type one, so you can remove it before it goes in for a service, etc!

Its just that ive heard that when the dealers download new software/do recalls/do services, etc, they will wipe any reprogramming away and it will need to be re-downloaded again, every time this happens??????

Turbo chip is straight in the ECU no external boxes Cool .

If you are really unlucky and LR remap the engine ecu you get a special number for a low rate remap Thumbs Up

From what I gather they do not remap as a matter of course. So you would be "Unlucky" if they did.  SDV8 vogue SE.
