United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

Well I suppose the 3.0 would be slightly more economical, but who buys a RRS for fuel economy. Laughing

Correct but with the mileage I do, extra 10 mpg is a nice bonus!

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Sumatra Black

Seem to have caught this post late, but I read all the horror stories too when I was looking, but I took the plunge, and have to say it's possibly one of the best cars I've owned. It really is an awesome bit of kit.
I can see where some of the horror stories come from, but to give it some pespective, I think that internet keyboard warriors are only too ready to rubbish British cars, and overlook the faults with German ones.
ie when a gearbox fault occurs, it's all Land Rovers fault, but its a ZF unit very similar to that fitted to a host of other (German) vehicles.
I've had 3 BMW's that have been excellent, but, I'm not convinced that the cost of maintainence is any less than the RRS. In fact I'd say that a lot of LR parts are very reasonably priced.

I can understand people having problems with the air suspension, but if you take the time to understand it, and keep it well maintained, it is great.
Just my two pence worth. Thumbs Up

Right chaps (and chapettes), I've decided to go for the £23k RRS. Yes it's at least £1k (probably £2k) over recommended price but car is immaculate inside and out. It has full main dealer service history. 1 previous owner, black and has a sunroof which very few RRS seem to have.

The clincher was the fact I invest in crypto currency and made €3k bonus today 😊 !!

So decided, what the heck! Hopefully ring dealer in the morning and secure the motor 😊😊

Australia 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Chawton White

Had mine for 3 years and over 100,000km now and I'd have to say, it has been an excellent and reliable car. I have no hesitation taking it all over Australia including some extremely remote areas. MY08 RRS TDV6, Chawton/Black, sunroof, hk, 268k km
2001 Audi A4 1.8T quattro 5mt sport, 340k km
1990 Nissan Pintara TRX, lots of mods, 438k km

If you get one with a sunroof, search the forum for info about clearing the drains. The drains can block and cause water to accumulate in the footwells. A few minutes' clearing them occasionally should prevent the stress of soggy carpets. Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Nice one. Is that the 59 plate? Similar to mine except you have black door handles and wing mirrors (which I want!). Enjoy it Smile Mine will have to be a serious money pit to put me off RRS's, I can't stand driving anything else now.
