Have you checked your battery? Sometimes a slowly recovering battery will trigger an HDC fault if you re start soon after it's been switched off. RRS gone

When you say "check your battery"?

What are we actually checking for?

I have recently tested my battery with a multi meter and it comes back at around 12.55v.

I am only asking because I also have had a few dash errors recently, particularly the HDC fault usually first thing in a morning when the engine is cold and it also comes up with "special programs off first thing in a morning more particularly a cold morning.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Deffo needs a new battery or at least a full charge with a CTEK charger.

What should the voltage be on the battery?

Does it definately need replacing?

If I need a new battery, can anyone recommend the best one to get?

Thanks

James

12 Volts, 90-100 amps....

I got a Borsch one in halfords..... 100 quid roughly. I had a similar problem, was driving and suspension dropped HDC no availiable and the dash would light up with tranmission fault and park brake fault, got the battery checked and it was unserviceable.... I think with these RRS the battery needs to be in good order as there are alot of electrics to power.... I was shocked as everything in the car worked as normal..... but hey get it checked and changed.
