United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Agree with most - Stick Range Rover badges back on.. and will be better.

Also agree that IMHO the wheels should have been silver, but then again I am considering black wheels on another project, so know where you are coming from..

I was in Lookers last night, and whilst inspecting the MY2010 RRS, I must say Adam RRS' updates make the car more up to date without taking away the heritage feel.. 57 RRS | TDV8 HSE | Java Black | Black Interior | Side Steps | 20" Alloys

Thank you for the comments guys, everyone is free to express an opinion.

I have always been a fan of debadged cars and to be honest if you dont know what the car is when it comes up behind you, then you wouldnt be able to fully appreciate it anyway. I wouldnt want to be seen driving around in your Range either Tim_from_scotland.

Regarding the wheels. I have done the Black/Silver/Chrome Lip wheels before and to be honest every other Range Rover is like this so wanted to get away from the norm. Have to totally disagree the car has been butchered though!

Really like Adam's Range Rover, its abit more abit more subtle than mine. Mine actully looked like that about 3 months ago, ive just gone one step further. Remember ive had the overfinch wheels sprayed. They were originally Silver as they dont sell black wheels as far as im aware?

I actully read up Adam's thread a few months ago about getting his lights done from Revere London although we managed to do it ourselves.

If there was one mod I would recommened it is getting the front lights done. Abit of work but really makes a difference and can be a cheap mod if you attempt it yourself.

I'm sure Tim was just being humourus, I mean he has almost 11,000 posts, and you need to be a bit tongue in cheek on this forum..

The main thing is - If you like it - then who cares? 57 RRS | TDV8 HSE | Java Black | Black Interior | Side Steps | 20" Alloys

Netherlands 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Buckingham Blue

Everybody his own taste, but IMO the missing RANGE ROVER letters on the front and back only say:

"I repainted these parts, but damn, i didn't realize how much those letters realy cost!!!!"

I would put them back on, because it realy looks like they are missing. SW

Put the letters back on, loose the black wheels.

I think that you've probably knocked a couple of grand off the value of your car by messing about too much.

You've got balls!

Bow down I keep telling myself 'It's a toy'
But I've broken quite a lot of toys in my time.....

I think its what you want so thats great. It's all OK IMO apart from the wheels, I think they would look better with a silver rim on the wheels instead of completely black.

I kind of quite like the black wheels but agree about the lack of badges............going down the 'tongue in cheek' route of sticking black badges on............you know what, it might not sound as daft as you first thought.

Obviously you would need to put matt black letters on the car or it would look like it had been sprayed without removing the letters Rolling with laughter

I am all for looking different but always worry a little about reducing the resale price of my motor.
I have done a few 'slight' changes to my black HST and always wanted to change the colour of my stormers, still might had them done in shadow chrome and see what it looks like!

Oh, I think the lights look great but if I ever had the balls to attack mine (yeah right Rolling with laughter ) I would certainly do something about the horrid side reflectors!

Well done for daring to be different mate Thumbs Up
