	Hi mate I think it’s simply the fact that the contacts in the two switches in the pedal switch start to arc and cause volt spikes and things in the electrical system which just make it confused

	just thought id post back to answer the findings. changed the oil temp sensor in the sump £35, and all good. temp gauge works fine and truck runs better
