I think the whine is coming from the front, just started up to check and got a whiff of something like brake linings, saying that I don't make a habit of sniffing under the bonnet on startup!

if you can borrow a Hawkeye or similar you can command the car to drop all the air out of the system completely.

it gets better and better, so in addition to this I now have 'Suspension Fault' and stuck in access mode.  . |
