Very well maintained (some might say over maintained) by the original owner who I bought it off ... |

Or more specifically, is the actuator replacable on it's own and is it a full strip-down job on the transfer box to replace it?

As daft as it sounds, check your brake light bulbs. 
Really??? Is that a known cause for those particular error messages, or for all sorts of random error messages? |

I had a small gearbox oil leak from a seal, which has now been replaced. Whilst they were at it, they also replaced the gearbox oil, of course.

Fuel prices!! At £1.40+/litre it is too expensive to run over the distances I now cover on a regular basis.
If I don't get the price I want for it then I will likely keep it and run a second cheap ... |

The chap replaced the air bags on the D2 with coil springs at a local Moroccan garage in Zagora and we were soon back on the road.
