United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey

Kam the only dates I found in the engine bay were the date the battery was made and the manufacturing date for the BiXenon headlights, nowt else!
Also found out that if you have a Xenon lamp blow you will get a free replacement from LR as they are supposed to have a life of 10 years (according to the Service Manager at the local dealership) and if they go before that LR sends them back to the makers for re-imbursement. A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

Tata TDv8 HSE - Stornoway/ebony and straight grain walnut with towpack, Tasmods and an HST grille. Coming soon LEDs in the headlights
Staying - Epsom Green Defender 90 for playing off road

Uhm... This is the tag on my car, it's probably a US-only requirement.

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Buckingham Blue

Update

Just had word from the dealer that the parts for the transmission have arrived so the car is booked-in for next Wednesday.

Should take a few hours since they have "only done a few of these so far".

Offered me a Freelander as a loan car but I would have to insure it!

Whatever happened to no hassle, free loan cars?

I had a Freelander on Wednesday of this week when my car was in, my insurance policy covers me for loan cars so luckily did not have to pay anything extra.

Have to say, was a terrible car to drive, gutless, vague, noisy, cheap feeling, and whenever you turned a corner at low speed the car would come to a grinding halt for no reason...terrible, Made to a budget and it shows. It was brand new as well.

My wife has a Freelander (SE on a 54 plate) and it is frustrating to drive when you are used to even the diesel RRS. However, if you take it by the scruff of the neck you can hustle it along. Take your point though, it's not in the same league as the RRS...
