If the fuse is ok, I would be inclined to start by checking the element is not burnt out, not unheard of.

Cheers

Fuse is all good one under bonnet and in car checked most fuses. Light for seat comes on
But will double check tomorrow. Checked wiring tonight took seat out and all wires look ok under seat
Was going to run direct to heat pad but haven't found a wire diagram so not sure where or what wires go to elements themselves

No certain this is the correct one but I think it is pre-facelift, might also be l/h/d, but not sure that would make any difference. Probably have to view in "my gallery" to enlarge.

The heating elements are split in to two bits - one for the squab and one for the seat back - but they're in series so if one fails you lose the lot. Not unheard of for them to burn out (had that on my old RRS) but you usually get a very hot spot for a while before it fails. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Unplug the element and do a continuity test on it, surely that must be the easiest option. Just look under the rear of the seat base and you will see the wire coming through the metal pan from the base, just unplug it and test.

Thank u ill give that a try tomorrow. Went and picked up another amplifier tonight for stereo as mine only turns on when it feels like letting me listen to music. So will fit that and try seat again.
