How much should I be paying?

After this years MoT, which she scraped through my 2010 TdV8, needs the following doing:
To supply and fit a pair of rear track control arms
To suply and fit a pair of front lower suspension arms
To supply and fit near side steering rack joint.

I have had a quote from the garage that carried out the MoT and at just under £2k feels a bit expensive, especially the mark up on parts. I have no issue with 6 hours Labour, but I don’t know any different.

What should I reasonably expect to pay for this work doing? 2010 HSE TdV8 in Stornoway Grey.

That is a bit steep. I'd expect more around £13-1400 inc alignment

Update:
I am getting it done, including the rear knuckles for £1400.
Bad news is it also needs a front suspension airbag (£600), a new coolant tank (which I knew about and have one to fit when I get time) and a complete set of wheel nuts, which the tyr en place told me last week when I got new tyres on it (£85) 2010 HSE TdV8 in Stornoway Grey.

I suggest you get your spanners out and do it yourself ....about £300 for parts /
If you are not able to do it then you should not be driving a RR or you have a big wallet,
I just bought two rear air bags for £ 230 ....fitting is free if you DIY,

Dont spend money on old cars you never get it back. Always listen to old people or when they die you will live on in ignorance.

Thanks watched a you tube video and it does seem simple enough to do, now for some follow up questions:

1. Which part do I buy? They seem to range from £345 + VAT for BWI to £150 for Dunlop?
2. What équipement do I need? What spec Jack and how do I safely support it whilst working on it? I’m assuming ankle stands of some description.
3. I see I need a long spanner.

Need to work out whether it will be cheaper to buy the parts and extra kit, then I have the kit for next time, or pay someone to do it that has the kit. 2010 HSE TdV8 in Stornoway Grey.
