2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Looks great, agreed though that LR needs to ditch the rotary gear selector but it's probably more to do with the smooth uncluttered interior looks that it has the rotary one - form over function. I had no issues with the rotary ones in Evoque except that rotating a gear lever isn't a natural action. I love the Volvo'esque touch screen heating controls however LR's history of cutting edge electronics is not one that it can be proud of and they are nearly always full of gremlins. Thankfully it looks more smaller but stretched L494 than squashed frog Evoque. I wonder if the rear leg room will be any longer than in RRS?
I can see Satin effect Silver being a popular colour going by those photos. It's 0910 here where I am and 0610 in the UK, I haven't been able to access the main LR website so I wonder if there is a lot of updating going on with it at the moment. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Great work by LR, looks exactly the same as all their other products (excluding FFRR). Someone needs to write a spotters guide for the current range, the only models I can reliably identify at a distance are the FFRR and Evoque Convertible.

Looks really nice but lets face it, it's not a real range rover is it?

fair point Andy but its more of a range rover than any of the others that bare the name, I feel land rover will be targeting the Porsche macan in particular with the velar, a car I had ordered and cancelled for the sport based on it not being SUV enough (if that makes sense). You cant really compare the evoque and macan due to lack of decent engine options in the evoque. The macan GTS is selling really well so why not take a piece of that market albeit at the risk of diluting the brand a bit.

if the engine options are true then you cant see them fitting a 400bhp diesel without stiffening the whole set up like the macan GTS.
