When I get home (Wales) currently in Yorkshire, I'll copy the sections from the full policy document I was sent on request. John

Chris - I've done a lot of research for when my 2 year LR approved one is up and I'll be doing the WD route. LR = no wear and tear; WD = cover wear and tear. Plus its cheaper and covers more...!

As ever, its an insurance policy and depending on your approach to risk then some folks want it and some don't see its worth it. Personally, whilst mine is still under finance then I'm going to get another 2 years but via WD and not LR. I reckon the WD one will be 50% cheaper so I've made my own risk assessment based on cover and cost.

So under the assumption that you have to pay for european recovery on top of that price instead of having L/R assist, then if my car was in the dealership for say 2 weeks at the cost of a rental vehicle is it really a significant saving? 2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black

Well just putting it out there but if my car was in a dealership for 2 weeks i would get a free hire car with L/R assist. If i had to rent one at say 50 a day for 2 weeks thats a considerable sum on top of a warranty direct price! 2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black

I have never found a warranty policy which will cover cars over 100,000 miles.
