Vibrating steering wheel when braking

I own at 07 tdv8 for the last year it has had a problem of a vibrating steering wheel when braking. I have swooped the wheels round, balanced them. Replaced all wheels and tyres with year old second hand ones, replaced all the discs and pads with original brembo. Replaced the lower wish bones and changed a wheel bearing. This is a great car, but it is driving me mad. I replaced the wheel bearing after the discs and pads, so hopefully it didn't distort that disc and pad, as it did have quite a lot of play, drives ok and steering wheel doesn't wobble on the road, but it only happens when I brake. It is quite a severe wobble, any help is appreciated

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange

Have you tried checking for run out on the front brake discs, it's possible that a drive flange is distorted, if you can't do this try clamping off the individual brake lines but be careful driving it like this if you have to brake hard it will pull severely so be gentle on the brakes but it should indicate what side the problem is.
Also were the hub flanges clean when the new discs were fitted. As this can give these symptoms. Life's too short to drive boring cars !

The judder was there before disc change, and that made on difference at all thanks

Just wanted to update everyone, the problem was warped disc and pads on one side, caused by caliper sticking on, ended up replacing both Brembo calipers brake pads and discs, expensive but problem solved and no one wants to drive a Range Rover that wobbles like that, thanks for all your help, it was another part of this forum that pointed me in the right direction
