Changeing a Tyre in safety

If you have used the jack supplied it becomes apparent that this is a dangerous tool. I am trying to find a suitable two stage aluminium bottle jack that I can carry in the car. Have not been able to locate from a WEB search so wondering if any members have a solution? M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW.

I hope yours is quicker Chris. 10 minutes just to get the wheel off the floor. I'd expect to have it changed and back on the ground in that time.

Looks to be useful on uneven or soft ground though. Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Mine has a schrader valve in the side so i dont use the exhaust tube, i just hook it upto my portable compressor that lives in the car as part of my recovery kit and its up in no time Wayne Laughing

You will notice that it lifts both wheels though, highly unlikely of having 2 punctures but if your stuck in the deep stuff its less messing around lifting 2 at the same time Thumbs Up 2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black

Those airjacks are great. Had one for a little while now and was amazed the day I got it!

Didn't think of the air jack but quite a good solution. Would think lite and easy to store in the car. Also a good recovery kiy if Bogged. M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW.
