My RRS preheater

Hi
I have just purchased my RRS and being the first RRS I have a few issues I want to sort out. It has a webasto heater under the bonnet. It's 06 plate. Can I buy a remote control for this or not.... Also here's one that might make some laugh. When I got it it went into limp a few times home guy I bought it of new about it and told me... To get a price and he'd sort it. I booked into my local LR dealership for a diagnostic...and it came back one EGR valve 0% the other was 40% on the bad side. The report said basically 1k to fix... I wouldn't ask my worst enemy to pay a bill like that. When I got home I had a look... And guess what... Both EGR valves are blanked. The question is a. Why would LR even get a reading and b. You would have thought the would have looked under the bonnet... I realise you plug it in but well maybe am just old fashioned... Rolling with laughter

Welcome to world of RRS,
You will visit this forum on a regular basis looking for cures Laughing
Your preheater, if working correctly will only operate when exterior temp is below 5 degree and don't worry if it looks like your
on fire as that's normal also.
