Hi Everyone,

I picked up my first RR last week. Its a Black 2005 4.2 Supercharged. I am new to RRS ownership having previously owned BMW's, VW"s and Audi"s.

Still learning new things everyday and loving every minute.

Hello all,

New to the forum - not new to Range Rovers. Currently driving a '15 plate RRS HSE Dynamic in Corris Grey, pan roof, 21's, black interior.

I do town and country driving and it gets cared for in both arenas!

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Hello everyone,

Picked up my 2005 RRS HSE TDV6 at 91,000 miles 2 weeks ago, so far so good. I'm probably one of the younger owners on here at 24 and wanted to purchase something out of my comfort zone. Previously owning a 300 bhp Toyota Glanza (still got) and a supercharged Honda Integra DC5 I made the jump to the RR due to a growing family and dare I say it the comfort Neutral .

My future plans are to get the HST rear bumper, along with facelifting front and rear, changing the front grille as it's not very attractive and has 4 holes 2 either side due to headlamp protectors being fitted, possibly Onyx 22" wheels in silver and getting everything colour coded. I have just this weekend painted mine a gloss black, looking to do the door mirrors, door handles, rear boot trim and the large plastic trims on bottom of the doors.

I will begin a build thread later to track my progress hopefully over the next few years of ownership.

Rich

Newbie RRS owner...

Morning all, stumbled across this site whilst looking for advice around buying a used RRS...anyway, just took the plunge and will be taking delivery of my first (an '08 HSE in Stornoway grey) this week.
Anyway, site looks full of people willing to help and chocca full of advice, so sure I'll be a regular...though hopefully not in any of the problems areas...
Pics to follow!
Cheers,
Rich

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey

Hi there,
After driving Mitsubishi for years I eventually gave in to the desire for an RRS. I read all the feedback and scared myself to death with the potential nightmare pitfalls of ownership. After reading someone else's comments somewhere, "stop dithering and just do it" I took the similar leap. Sadly my price bracket didn't stretch to brand new but I found a 2010 HSEV8 facelift model that I really liked and the deal was done. Admittedly it had higher mileage (ex demonstrator) than I wanted but the service history was excellent and pretty much everything that could ever be replaced in five years was done stretching into four figures cost. I read another comment were someone said, "After all these years of hard work I found myself driving a prestige dream car and the envy of my work colleagues said it all". Yep, after four months driving I can agree with that. Its five years old but looks like it just came off the production line and people constantly ask me how I've got such a fantastic looking car.
The spec is just astonishing and puts all my previous "top of the range" vehicles to shame. On the downside its "glitchy". I read about it and I expected it so I'm not complaining. When your driving what was originally a sixty grand "laptop" you have to understand you might need to switch it off and reboot now and then. Smile
Generally everything is in full order, the audio system has gone silent three times but that was cleared with a restart and just this week the alarm is not fully setting hence me registering today to get some further help as its no doubt occurred with someone else and will be some daft reason I've never noticed before. I've completed some really long journeys over the past few months and its performed admirably every time.
