Hi
I have happily owned a 2005 RRS for over 5 years until yesterday when it lost all power and coasted to a stop. When I turn the key the ignition lights go through the usual checks, but the starter motor will not turn over. Has anyone any suggestions before I call the dealer to tow the car to the workshop. Thanks

Hi all

New to the site and new to RRS ownership. Purchased a 2012 SDV6 HSE in black yesterday from a main dealer and collecting it Friday. Looking forward to getting to know the car and also maybe chatting with some of you fellow enthusiasts.

new to this posting thing, got an issue I'm hoping someone can shed some light on as I cant get a straight answer from any mechanic my neck of the woods,
Battery light on! been on 2 weeks now took it to 3 places 1 said new battery 1 said alternator the other said cant be neither :/ im getting 12.58v on battery test measuring 903a, starter test is 10.72v and charging test is 13.49v just put new battery on and still have light on Please help.

Hi all iv got a recall on my toe bar the detachable one but Ito not in the boot nor it the key I'm booked in to dealer in few days will they still renew it or will they not touch it has anyone else had this problem it's rrs tdv6 hse 2007 java black thanks guys I'd like to hear from use . Dave

Hi all, I am in desperate need of advice!!!! I am the owner of a RRS, which I have had for 8 months, it started having an awful noise coming from engine. Took it to my mechanic who I totally trust. He is of the opinion the engine is SH as it has handwritten numbers on top ie63023. I brought the car with 30000 miles on clock. My mechanic thinks the engine has done 63000 by looking at parts on it!!!!! The company I brought the car from sent a so called Range Rover Specialist to look at it. He said most engines come from factory with hand written numbers on, any advice would be most welcome

I'm Leon and I just bought a 2008 RRS TDV8 HSE for my wife... OK, OK,.... for me.. and I'm LOVING IT!

Thought I'd come say hello, needed more space so traded my RS4 in for a 10 plate RRS HSE in black. Had an HST years ago and I'm glad to have another sport.

Will be looking for a remap in the near future and software updates (if possible?)

Hi All, Bought myself my first RR a couple of weeks back, got a 09 TDV8 HSE RRS with lots of extras fitted, most i didnt know about until they were pointed out!

Test drove a 07 full fat a few weeks before and decided that the sport was for me!

So far so good, am lovin the car (replaced a BM 330i Touring) and very happy with my purchase. Kids are loving the factory fitted rear entertainment!

Im a compulsive fiddler and ex mechanic (long time ago now when cars had carbs!) but have my old bikes to get my fingers greasy!

So far sorted the awful wipers and chrome mirror guards that were fitted and the drivers seat leather was looking a bit fatigued so a clean and re-colour sorted that out beautifully


will have a poke around and find any info!
