my new egr valves

have had my EGR valves replaced and now when I turn on my heater I seem to get fumes come into the cockpit when the blower comes on ? would anyone link the 2 ? has something been moved / incorrectly aligned when the valves were done or is it just a coincidence and something to do with the cold temperatures of late ?

cheers

Its probably fumes from the fuel heater that is under the bonnet near washer fluid. only comes on in cold weather.
Horrible smell mine does the same. Maybe set heater control to recirculation to stop pulling air in from outside????
