How did you get on with the detailer.... was it an interesting enough proposal

Had two responces, one asking for my number to talk, the other quoted £450 with crystal serum and C5 on wheels, but if there's slight swirls to get rid of, £750

Not dissimilar to the quotes I was getting... although that included interior protection and detailing... and hopefully not too much correction work Shocked

Tempting if your paintwork is already corrected.... from the sound of CS it really has to be applied correctly....

opticoat2 may be worth considering as it's more user friendly if your going to diy...

Leeser23..... Superclean does the whole range.... read his earlier post Cool

I think I'm going to take the satisfaction route and do it myself

Wolfs Chemicals shine and seal
Wolf chemicals Hardbody
And their rim seal for the wheels

I use their products already and they come with out the GTechniq price tag and do what they say they do, won't be Crystal Serum but won't be £700 either

Much more satisfying if you have the ability and can do it yourself...

I like Wolfs...... used in the outgoing RRS...
Rim shied never worked well for me though.... probably my cr..p "tecniq" again.... Laughing

Maybe worth considering Bradders combo in this section for the wheels ...

C5 Wheel Armour followed by C2v3 Liquid Crystal .... He reckons he'll get a year out of it...

Anyway... i'll be posting on how all this Tecniq CS etc etc etc i'm having applied holds up from new.... 2014.5 SDV6 AB Dynamic ... Fuji /Santorini Pan roof and 22's

When I get confirmation from the site, I'll post up my personal style of a Gtechniq crystal lacquer protection detail. Then it'll give you a great insight of what is covered in this particular detail.

Cheers
