Do you know the software version that was applied, Josh? I'm not sure if this upgrade is already available here in Switzerland.

My car is in at Guy Salmon in Coventry today for a few minor niggles, but they have informed me that they will undertake a complete software "enhancement" while it is there. This, I was informed, will take around 3-4 hours
I don't yet know what it covers, but they did say a "complete" upgrade.
I'll let you know when I pick it up.

Paulb -

I had my engine / transmission software upgrade ( esp for supercharged ) done yesterday.

You will need to check what they do - poss need to get JE to re-chip etc afterwards.

You made an earlier comment about a wheel upgrade, do you have any more details? Guy Salmon claim to know nothing about it.

I'm sure thats what they said, but in the same breath they said it wouldn't apply to me. Can only assume if your dealer is denying then I must be mistaken.

Dealer phoned me today. Very impressed with the JE exhaust. "Makes it look really good" they said. They're not wrong.

Also told me the software upgrade did some modification to the suspension. They were abit hazy on detail. Perhaps TB can spill the beans or we can ask at Gaydon. TDV6 - gone

When I took mine in for it's service last Fri, they said they hadn't been sent the software update. They did admit it existed though, and offered to have it back for free to be updated when they had it... shame it can't be downloaded and taken in by a customer.

Just spoke to my dealer here in Zurich. He told me that he had received a "pre-information" that the SW upgrade was coming and he expects to inform all customers by mid/end of July.

Anyway, I'm bringing my car in earlier because I need to have a fixed phone installation done. The bluetooth integration is just to unreliable! Me transmitte sursum, caledoni!
