Forgot to mention when dealer told me about the software upgrade he also mentioned something about a free upgrade of wheels at the same time but that it wouldn't apply to me as I already had the 20" wheels. Hence why I forgot all about it.
Thought you'd like to know though. TDV6 - gone

Jay, my car has not been recalled as it was built with dynamic and 20" wheels. I didn't pay much heed to what they said about the upgraded wheels after he said but I already had them. TDV6 - gone

Got new windscreen bottle fitted today and they did the software update which is a LR recall for everyone Exclamation

Changes as follows(as far as I know):-

1) modified gear change program - felt alot better afterwards
2) increased fuel economy for diesel owners only Exclamation Wink
3) changes to sat nav, can be used on the move now and appears faster
4) phone software upgrades, for newer models alledgedly

Plus I've been back to JE Engineering to have it sorted Wink Very Happy Twisted Evil TDV6 - gone

I'm not aware of a recall for software update.

ST, car produced in Feb 06, delivery 1 March 06. Dealer hadn't started the recall program it was just by chance mine needed the repair just as the software arrived at the Dealers.
But they told me it will be a recall job for everyone.Call your dealer before you run south to the sun Exclamation

JE were of the opinion that it might be the last update for a good while. I used the sat nav on the move this pm - it works. Better than having to pull over to use it. TDV6 - gone
