No, initially as I was flying up the M1 this morning thought I had got a flat
and pulled over to hard shoulder to smell some sort of burning smell and
then grating noise but engine was running perfect and no rise in temp etc, then dealer rang to
inform me of the damage.

Ouch! these things are supposed to go on for 10 years without any maintainance but i don't know at what mileage you are supposed to have the oil changed Big Cry

I put 19" m+s tyres on my RRS for winter but I still use my FL1 in bad weather due to idiots on the road Shocked

If they hit my FL1 - ce la vie but keep away from my RRS Evil or Very Mad

FL1 has no fancy programmes - just 18" m+s tyres and handles snow perfectly Thumbs Up Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

I was looking a Firenze red RRS on the configurator and it looked really good ... but not for me in that picture.
