United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

Had to smile today...

Driving along a single track road with just "tram track" clear tarmac down the middle. A white van coming the other flashed me to come on and I thought he'd wait for me to dive in to the wide bit of verge where he was. Nope. He decided to drive off the road on the other side and on to the snowy, sloping verge.

I went by and gave him a cheery "thank you" wave. And then looked in my mirrors to see him not moving. So I stopped and watched a bit more as he was obviously trying to move but failing to do so. I backed up, got out and offered to pull him back on to the tarmac.

After a further fruitless minute of wheelspin he conceded defeat. I attached my rope to his towbar and my rear tow point and proceeded to drag him backwards about 15 yards before he got back on to something driveable.

Suffice to say that the RRS barely noticed 2+ tonnes of white van being dragged partially sideways along the verge.

Well, it was the least I could do after he so nicely gave way to me... Rolling with laughter 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

??? '08 RRS TDV8
I converted my diesel RRS to run on an environmentally friendly mixture of caribou fat and baby seals oil
